The Kangaroo Kage
The way to learn and practice golf or in fact any sport is about to
change forever. Phillip Davies a farmer in Adelaide Australia wanted
a way for his son to compete with other lads in the wine country
down under.
Phillip’s son George was born with a slight weakness in his left
side. He wanted to play soccer but his left side was really bad and
he performed so badly in practice that he had low-esteem.
Phillip (a coach) set about creating a training system that would
allow George to develop strengthen to his left side, and develop
both his kicking hand and head skills and to enable his self esteem
as a player.
Enter the Kangaroo Kage, a combination of netting, ropes, aluminum
tubing and turnbuckles that can be tightened to any desired degree.
Last January at the 2003 PGA Golf Show in Orlando the Kangaroo Kage
was selected Best New Product (out 1500) products and golf is just
on of the many sports that can be played with it. It’s a one ball
driving range always catching and returning the ball to you.
Jim Achenbach, featured back page columnist for nationally published
Golf Week wrote: “The Kangaroo Kage is exceptionally sturdy and
can be used for any activity that involves hitting, kicking,
throwing or catching.”
The Kage is so
versatile the it can be shared. Dad for Golf, sis for tennis,
brother for hockey and an aspiring soccer star. Its 7’ by 7’ by 10’
size means that it can be located in the back yard, a basement or in
a garage. Easy to move, two youngsters can pull it to the shade.
For less than $500.00 you can have one for your very own.
It does not replace the experience of hitting a golf ball on a range
or on the golf course, but it allows the player to practice and
develop the correct golf swing. Using a video camera a golfer can
check his or her takeaway, the position at the top, the downswing,
the impact position and follow through in privacy of their
backyard at any time.
Just go
out and swing.
