LOVETT GOLF UNVEILS NEW GAP WEDGE THAT FITS INTO THEIR  LINE OF TOUR  STANDARD WEDGES

Naples, FL –December 10, 2004 – After a very successful year, Lovett Golf is ready to become an even bigger player in the golf equipment wedge category with the unveiling of a new Tour Gap Wedge.  The Tour Gap Wedge solidifies Lovett’s position in the wedge category, by providing a more complete line of cast wedges with a variety of configurations to satisfy the demands of their customers, who have requested Lovett Golf, make a wedge to fit between their Tour Standard (sand wedge) and Pitching wedge.

“Made with the same craftsmanship and precision of all the Lovett line on wedges, this new “teardrop” head shaped Tour Gap Wedge, allows the average player to hit the 90-120 yard shot from the rough or fairway with the control of the Tour Standard,” says Jim Stewart, Vice President of Lovett Golf.  “For beginners and the average player, the Tour Gap Wedge will take the fear out of those daunting bunker shots, and hitting out of the rough will now be a lot easier.”

Unlike any other wedge in the game, the Tour Gap Wedge is designed to allow a player to make cleaner contact with the ball from the rough or sand without having to modify their swing. Features such as a contoured face, leading edge curved ahead of the hosel, various sole radiuses and weight positioning all work together in the design to eliminate the potential for poor shots. With the use of the Lovett Tour Gap Wedge, a golfer’s short game can change overnight from one of frustration to increased confidence and enjoyment.
