MYSTIC DUNES HOSTS GRAND OPENING

Mystic Dunes held its Grand Opening today.  Hosted by the Management and Staff an open invitation went out to the VIPs and residents of the Orlando area.

Activities included skills contests on all 18 holes, offering opportunities to win golf clubs,  a weeks vacation at the Palm Resort,  a 2 year lease on a Cadillac Escalade, a Million Dollar Hole in One contest , club testing and hourly drawings for prizes.  Also free hot dogs, wings, soda and beer.

On the driving range, Golf Pro Trick Shot/ Entertainer Jay Golden demonstrated his humor and skills    The crowd reacts.   "This guy is a riot"


The par 71 - 7 012 yard layout was designed by PGA tour Professional Gary Koch. The front nine has the feel of a British Isles Links Course while the back nine is more of a style typical of the Carolinas.  The course is located on 156 acres of rolling hills designed to preserve the topography and its dramatic elevation
 
   
The focal point of this affair was the brand new 20,000 sq.-ft. clubhouse with a 3,000 sq.-ft. pro shop, a full service lounge, restaurant and banquet facility seating up to 200 people.

Located on Old Lake Wilson Rd. CR545 one mile south of State Road 192 not far from the Disney World entrance, Mystic Dunes was developed by The Palms Resort and Country Club and is owned by Tempus Resorts
International the exclusive developer of The Wyndham Vacation Club.
   
Designed as a semi-private course Mystic Dunes will offer play to the owners at the Palms Resort and the general public.
